Richard Tuttle
Grandeur, 1990
watercolor & graphite on graph paper
16f x 21f inches
"I would be happy to build this (a trellissed arbor with garden benches) for any client who had the mountain range, lake and space, for free, if they had money for materials.
--May 13, 1990"
This is a proposed free outdoor installation by Tuttle, which he presented us, in the form of a watercolor and pendant note, as part of our exhibition, "The Garden." Weve yet to find someone whose landscape fits the qualifications.
